e.) Right Heel Kick step Forward and Punch.

You’ll learn about “the four dimensions of purpose approach” to the movements:
1.) Self-Healing

4.) Changing your life stance psychologically.

Description

I hope you’ll benefit from seeing the esoteric connection in the movement “Double Wind Fills the Ears” to Hua Tau’s Deer animal frolic. You’ll learn how making this imaginal connection to the Deer while you are doing the Double Wind movement can help you to cultivate Kidney chi. (Hua Tau was the Chinese Physician in the 2nd century A.D. who developed the five Animal Frolics.)

Adding to a holistic view of the purposes of this movement you’ll see various self defense applications including the not well-known two-person practice of “Emptying the Bucket”. I gratefully learned this two person practice from Master Sam Tam.

“I did not go out of our home during the daily terrorist attacks in Israel. I practiced Michael Mayer’s Bodymind Healing exercises regularly to regain my calm. They relieved my tight body and took my mind off of the stress and worries to be more present to others, to help them deal with their fears and find an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the war zone.I continue to use Bodymind Healing Qigong to ease everyday stresses and bring me back to my inner sanctuary of equanimity.”
