Pre practice Warm up:

2. Straighten elbows to activate the Penetrating Extraordinary Channel (Chong Mai)
B. Finger flicking: To activate Kidney Yang
C. Bouncing: To activate piezo electric effect to strengthen bones and tonify internal organs

Selected Daoyin Tu type exercises: Guarding the Knees, Abductor stretch, Psoas stretch, the healing connection between neck and hips, Spiraling a Snake through your Joints, Dipping your Hands into the Waters of Life, Opening your Heart to the Heavens, Spiraling a Snake connecting Heaven and Earth —The Physician’s Staff
  1. Healing the Internal Organ exercises:
    A. Wood (Gall Bladder Meridian)- Buddha Holds up the Heavens
    B. Fire- Opening the Heart, Sound HA 3 times
    C. Earth (Spleen Meridian)- Raising the Chi to Tan Tien and back to the Earth; Crane Walking, Crane flying, Sound HUH. for healing worry and correcting imbalances in leg strength.”
    D. Metal- Lung chi, arrow to the Heavens; Lung chi, scooping up slurping and swinging down palms behind the back palms up sound shhh, 2nd Lung exercise: Moistening, clearing & tonifying the Lungs (slurping and expelling sounds)
    E. Water- Kidney Yin, outstretched palm to the side, Sound Whoo; Kidney Yang, sound Chirr- EEEE; Yi Chuan Dragon
    F. Wood- Liver, as in Tai Chi Shoulder stroke, Sound SSS
  2. Animal Forms of Hua Tau (taught in the larger Bodymind Healing Qigong training). Short set, just Crane Walking and Flying —as in the Earth Healing the Internal Organ Set above).
  3. Yi Chuan Walking Meditation Qigong’ (Long term students learn the eight Yi Chuan postures and the twelve palms. In the short set we do just a few.)
  4. Wuji and Yi Chuan Standing Meditation Qigong
