Body Mind Healing Qigong: Golden Ball Bundle

One key element of the Western Mystery Tradition are symbolic process traditions such as astrology, alchemy, Tarot and esoteric interpretation of myths, and folk tales. In this class we take the classic Brother’s Grimm folk tale of Iron Han’s, or as Robert Bly calls it, “the tale of the Wildman and the King’s son.” In the tale the King’s son’s Golden Ball rolls into the cage of the captive Wildman. The Wildman give the Golden Ball back in return for being freed from the cage. An initiation process then takes place where the King’s son goes into the woods to learn from the Wildman and be initiated into the path of becoming golden. And so we ask the question, “How have we lost the Golden Ball in our lives and how can methods from the Eastern Mystery Tradition provide an answer to how the King’s son (daughter) in us can be initiated into to activating the Golden Ball in our lives.
